Well zoom its been fun and sometimes stressful but hopefully we are done with you for a bit as we will meet face to face for our September meeting.
We continue to have entertaining meeting on zoom, last month Tai Chi taster and in June we have local lady Karen Wright sharing her bake off part 1 talk. We also look forward to an outdoor event in the summer when we can meet face to face
There is a feeling of Spring in the air following last weeks talk. An entertaining evening learning about spring folklore and festivals. April will be our AGM and we will also have a talk on health and wellbeing which I am sure we will all agree is so important at this present time.
Tomorrow evening will be our first meeting of 2021. We will be hearing about the courageous effort of women during WW1. Whilst we continue on Zoom for the current time we are hopefully optimistic to hold an outdoor summer event and face to face meetings by the end of the year. New members are always welcome and with new rules about pro-rata membership why not get in touch.
Its been a while since a update but the WI has not been idle. Regular meeting are now happening on zoom but more than 2/3 attending. We have changed our programme to suit the format and used the opportunity to welcome speakers from far away that would not have been able to attend in person. We look forward to a magic evening in December
As it may be a while until face to face meetings are safe to run again we have now started meeting via zoom. Speakers and other events are planned. See events page for more details
We are living in very different times at present, unfortunately we have had to suspend our monthly meetings and groups at present. Please keep checking the website for updates and get in touch with us if you have any questions or need any assistance
